Get Relief From Migraine, Tension Headache, Sinus Headache & Other Headache

I love providing headache relief!  Headaches are a category of pain that I welcome as I have found headaches and migraines to be very responsive to acupuncture and nutritional medicine.

Here is was Chris had to say about the welcome quick relief he got coming to my office for some regular care:

“I have been suffering from cluster headaches for over three years. A few months ago, I was in the middle of a storm of migraines that had been going on for four weeks. I was completely at a loss of what to do and was told to see Tara Perry. Within a few days of my first two treatments, my headache pain was gone from seriously painful to dull pain. A week later, after just three sessions, my headaches were gone. It’s been a couple of months and with a few “preventative and maintenance” treatments, I have been headache free

I've suffered from chronic migraines for the better part of a decade, as often as three times a month, and they were extremely debilitating. Since starting acupuncture treatment over a year and a half ago, the number of migraine occurrences has reduced dramatically to the tune of three total per year, and the intensity has lessened as well. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice, she is a life saver.

Tara Perry is a miraculous individual. My body was in a shambles and my headaches were so intenseIn just a few sessions my headaches have been relieved, and I feel so much better. I immensely recommend Tara

In cases where stress is an aggravating factor, both acupuncture and meditation are outstanding tools.

Acupuncture has been proven to be effective for increasing the half of our nervous system that is in charge of our immune system, relaxation, proper hormone balance, and efficient use of nutrients.  Meditation is a convenient and free practice that has marvelous proven results for pain reduction and enhanced well being.

In severe cases of headache or migraine where symptoms are bad enough that work is missed and/or Emergency Room visits have been needed, cupping can be a very useful tool.  Cupping (sometimes referred to as reverse pressure) is a millennia old practice used by hundreds of cultures around the world.  Cupping was recently made world famous by swimming Olympic Gold Medal swimming superstar Micheal Phelps.

Phelps' proud display of the purple spots on his body revealed to the world how this healing art can be used to boost performance and eliminate pain. Gently cupping the face and relieving key trigger areas often brings instant and lasting relief.

Headaches can be caused or aggravated by various factors including stress and tension, hormonal imbalance, and problems with digestion.  Often these headaches will present in different locations on the head. Tension headaches most often occurring in the occipital or temporal areas, digestive issues often presenting on the forehead, and issues involving the Liver median presenting on the crown of the head.

Usually, once my patients are feeling relief and factors contributing to the ongoing problem are reduced or removed, continued relief is ongoing and lasting. Some patients find that with the stresses and challenges of life, they will benefit from coming in for maintenance sessions every few weeks or months.  Patients schedule according to their needs.  We seek to provide the correct amount of care needed for that individual.

Even young children who suffer chronic debilitating migraines can become symptom free quickly and easily.   I have treated kids in grammar school who suffered from debilitating headache that often kept them home from school.  In a few as 3 to 6 treatments, we were able to greatly reduce or eliminate this burdensome pain!
